Joe, Chuck, Max, and Jim have been recognized as Legal Eagles by Franchise Times numerous times. This is the third year Sawan has been recognized. Jim Susag received special recognition as a member of the Legal Eagles 2022 Hall of Fame. The Legal Eagles Hall of Fame consists of attorneys who have been on the list for 10 years.

The Legal Eagles honor by Franchise Times, a publication for the franchise industry, recognizes accomplished attorneys who have a thorough understanding of legal and business issues impacting the franchise industry. Franchise attorneys are selected based on the number and quality of nominations from peers (including other attorneys and franchisors), with weight given to detailed nominations from clients and from peers in firms other than their own. The nominations are then judged by Franchise Times editors.
